Join the Church on Easter
Easter Sunday (April 5) is a highlight of the year for the church. And it’s a beautiful moment to take the step of joining the church. If you’re ready to do that, email me. If you’re thinking about it and have questions, reach out with those as well. What a gift it can be to have new members on Easter, making a great day even more special for them and for the church!
“ConnectU” begins April 12
As we more guests and newcomers seek out this family of faith, we’re launching a new way to build relationships, answer questions, and share information. ConnectU is a four-week gathering, held during small group time (from 9-10 a.m.). We’ll meet in The Hub, the glassed in area beside the atrium. In a personal, informal setting, we will become better acquainted, explore briefly what being Methodist means, and open doors for those who want to plug in. If you have begun attending in recent months, ConnectU is designed for you!

“Holy Humor” Sunday, April 12
Did you know centuries ago early Christians started a tradition called “Bright Sunday?” Some say it grew out of the idea that God had the “last laugh” over sin and death through Jesus’s resurrection. Whatever the origins it became known as “Holy Humor” Sunday, a time to lift our spirits in joy and even laughter. So, here’s what to do… Wear bright colors, even crazy outfits and funny hats. Expect joy-full music. And, yes, there likely will be some funny stories. What a great day to invite someone who might be looking for a church that believes faith and joy belong together!
