A Summer to Remember for Children at First United

You have been so wonderful and supportive of the Children’s Ministry, and we are ready for our summer plans to kick off! If it is anything like our new Children’s Ministry logo, it is going to be awesome!

Summer of JOY will begin in June, along with church camp. It is time to get out your best words of encouragement and pen them down in cards for our young campers – a list will be posted in the church office. Even better, go camping with us; they are looking for church support at each one, and Children’s Ministry has 3 camps to go to.

With your help, I already have more than 20 people ready to work Vacation Bible School in July, but Snowball Mountain needs more volunteers to make it an epic success! I am looking forward to the ways in which we can spread the light of Christ together!

Camp Growin in Grace 1 (June 15-17) -We need someone to camp with 3rd-5th graders!

Camp Sonshine (June 19-21) – We need a Music Leader for our youngest campers!

Vacation Bible School (July 20-23) – We need Guides for the children, a Games Leader, and a Science Leader!
