Bartlesville First United Methodist Church Youth Scholarship

The Bartlesville First United Methodist Church Youth Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors who have been active in the life and ministries of Bartlesville First United Methodist Church. Church membership is not required. The scholarship may be used toward college, university, technical or trade school, vocational training, certification programs, or other recognized education and training beyond high school.

Through this scholarship, our church family celebrates the young people who have grown, served, worshiped, and shared life with us—and offers encouragement and support as they take their next steps.

This scholarship is made possible through the generosity and foresight of those who chose to invest in future generations of Bartlesville First United youth, with endowments established by or in memory of Charlie & Corky Bowerman, Bob & Loretta Ramsey, Lori Railsback & Clifton Railsback, Roy McCullough, and Nancy & Bob Farmer.

Bartlesville First United Methodist Church Community Scholarship

The Bartlesville First United Methodist Church Community Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors in our community as they pursue education or training beyond high school. Applicants do not need to attend or be affiliated with First United Methodist Church. The scholarship may be used toward college, university, technical or trade school, vocational training, certification programs, or other recognized post-secondary education and training.

The scholarship is intended to help make a student's next step a little more attainable while recognizing that promising futures take many different paths. Financial need is considered, while GPA and academic performance are not used as selection criteria.

This scholarship is made possible through an endowment established by the Roy McCullough family in support of the scholarship ministries of Bartlesville First United Methodist Church. Through this scholarship, First United Methodist Church is pleased to extend that legacy of generosity to graduating seniors throughout our community.

The deadline for applications is March 15. Submissions must be emailed to scholarships@bartlesvilleunited.com
